From May 13th to May 17th 2019 the ESA Living Planet Symposium took place in Milan, Italy. This international conference with focus on Earth Observation is one of the worldwide biggest events of this kind. All ECoLaSS partners attended (GAF AF, SIRS, JR, UCL, DLR). Recent ECoLaSS developments were presented in two oral presentations held by Markus Probeck from GAF AG and Pierre Defourny from UCL, showing examples of incremental updates of High Resolution layers, improved Grassland identification crop type mapping and phenology indicators. Furthermore a poster with the latest outcomes of the Agriculture Prototypes was also a success.
